How We Help

Standard Care Hospice sends caring professionals to the homes of patients experiencing terminal diseases in an advanced state. With this focus, we can offer highly experienced and effective care. Our objective is to ensure comfort, dignity, confidence, and peace for our patients and their families during this important time of life. Services include:

• Medication management
• Symptom management strategies
• Delivery of home medical equipment and supplies
• Coordinating with your doctor to provide information and receive orders
• Personal care support such as bathing and grooming
• Telehealth and 24-hour on-call availability
• Preparation and training for family caregivers
• Advance care planning such as help with medical power of attorney documents and other planning
• Emotional and spiritual support appropriate to the culture and needs of each individual patient
• Bereavement support

All-inclusive Care

We accept Medicare benefits as 100% payment for all the palliative care services, supplies, and even medications our patients need – related to the hospice diagnosis. Patients have no co-pays, deductibles, or out-of-pocket expenses of any kind for:

• Clinician visits such as visits from nurses or therapists
• Aide visits for personal care
• Medical supplies related to care for the hospice diagnosis
• Medical equipment such as a hospital bed or wheelchair
• Medication – especially meds for symptom management

Your Doctor

Standard Care Hospice highly values the doctor-patient relationship. That is why we never ask a patient to switch to our doctors for hospice care. While we also have our own medical director and associate medical directors, we work with your doctors, following their orders, and extend their care to the comfort of your home.
