At some point, everyone prefers the comforts of home. However, being at home managing a terminal disease in an advanced state can make people feel alone and nervous. Feelings of being overwhelmed, in the dark, or unsupported do not have to be part of this experience. Standard Care Hospice is founded by people who understand the hospice experience, the needs of both patients and their families, as well as the need for good communication even when different languages and cultures are involved. Standard Care Hospice will help.
Medicare and Medi-Cal pay up to 100% for our services when the time is right, so please call us now to learn more.

Southern California is a beautiful area, rich in cultural diversity. Standard Care Hospice is designed to celebrate and serve that diversity. Our founder comes from a Vietnamese family and personally had the experience of wanting more information and communication from hospice, which was only exacerbated by a language barrier. Because communication is such a vital part of hospice care, Standard Care Hospice maintains a deep, multi-lingual staff capable of care in many languages including English, Vietnamese, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Arabic, and many more.
"Hi Linda, you probably received word my father passed away. I just wanted to thank you for all your support and kindness. Hospice really provided essential service during his last days. Thank you from my whole family"

"Standard Care Hospice was truly a blessing for my family and me.
Words cannot express the gratitude and appreciation I hold for this
team. There is nothing “standard” about their care;
they‘ve gone above and beyond for my late father.
My father was an isolated patient due to his declining condition,
which I’ve come to understand is a big red flag in the medical
world. It’s tough for any family when a loved one is headed
toward the end of their life, now add a big red medical flag to it to
make it that much harder. I was so lost and had no idea what to do.
All I knew was I wanted the best for my father. The hospital was
pressuring me to put him on a specific “V” hospice, highly
praising their multi-gazillion-dollar company, but not the
care/support they could provide for my father. If I chose otherwise,
my father would lose his bed and we would be on our own. Ms. Linda
from SCH found me and I immediately knew this hospice was the one for
my family and me. She was there for my family from the very first
phone call to the very end, always keeping us in the loop and
consoling us all the while fighting tooth and nail for my father; she
NEVER GAVE UP even when everyone else did. She understood my family
dynamic and financial situation to a T and made everything work
WITHOUT COMPROMISE. Whether it was the middle of the day or the middle
of the night, had we had any concerns, she would always be a phone
call away. What more can someone ask for?
When my father came home from that god-forsaken hospital, we were
immediately set up with nurses and CNAs for 24/7 continuous care.
Head-to-toe baths, groomings, diaper changes, the whole nine yards.
The nurses on SCH’s team were amazing. Shout out to nurse Kelly
and nurse Paola. They were so gentle and warmhearted with my father.
They answered all of our questions and ensured we understood
everything before they left, every time they visited. Not only did
they take care of my father, but also checked up on my family and me
to make sure we were hanging in there. We weren’t just a case
number to SCH, we were treated like family and for that, I’ll
NEVER ever forget it."

"We went with Standard Care Hospice for our mom and are so glad we did. Everyone was caring and helpful, but we are especially touched by Linda's compassion and care. She is an absolute gem! She is an advocate for the elderly and puts their well being even above her own schedule and time. She was there for us and our mom; we could reach her anytime - 24/7, literally. Her goal is to make sure that the patient be treated with care and dignity, and that the family is supported well. She and her team have achieved that!"

"The staff at Standard Care were amazing. From the initial call giving me all the information I needed, to the final time the nurse came to pronounce TOD, the entire staff cared about me and my mother. I can not say enough great things about them."

"Recently, our mother was in need of the hospice care and we were referred to contact Ms Linda/Isabella. From the first phone call to her office, she really put us at ease by her humble and soft voice. She was much understanding of our hardships of taking care an old person. She patiently explained all the questions we had about the hospice services because it was our first time with the program. Ms. Linda came to our house the next morning and enrolled our mom in the program. The paperwork was very much easy and simple. We were done in 15 mins. The rest of her time was spent talking to our mother, trying to cheer her up. Our mom praised Ms. Linda's kindness after she left. The same afternoon, the nurse, Ms. Uyen came to check on our mom's health. Ms. Uyen was then called and talked to the doctor to give our mom the best medications to help with her difficult breathing.Just like Ms. Linda, Ms. Uyen was caring and patiencely taking the time to. explain everything we needed to know about how to taking care our mom. She helped us feel at ease. The medical bed and all hospice devices, along with medications, were delivered to the house the same evening. Without these urgent supports , we weren't sure if our mom had lasted thru the next day. Ms. Linda was very responsive to any questions we had over the phone or texts. Later our mom was in need of a boarding and care housing. Ms. Linda immediately connected us to one and even helped us with funding to help pay a portion of the admitted fee. We were so graceful for that. we highly recommend Standard Care Hospice to anyone who needs care for their love ones"
